How to add a ETA to Control Center on iOS

With the launch of iOS 18, Apple is enabling developers to add widgets to Control Center. Even better news is that ETA has a very useful widget enabling you to get directions to a favourite destination.

To add this widget follow these steps

1. Firstly unlock your phone either via Face ID or with your passcode
2. Swipe down from the top right to show Control Center
3. Tap and Hold on the screen, this will turn Control Centre into 'Edit' Mode.
4. Tap 'Add a Control' at the bottom of the screen

5. Search for ETA or scroll down to see it in the list. Tap on the available widget to add to your Control Center

6. You can move the widget around, and using the bottom drag handle you can make it fill two columns revealing the location name

7. Tap on the widget to edit it, changing the location or the icon.

8. That's it, you're done! Now you have a handy widget in your Control Center that quickly gets you destinations to a favourite location. Add as many as you wish!
